Placing an Order

You can order your furniture in two ways:

  • Via our website
  • By telephone ~ 01233 740045

The order date is taken from when either full payment or a deposit (50%) is received.

Payment

You can pay on our website using a credit/debit card via PayPal. You can also pay by cheque made payable to Oakfresco or by bank transfer (please contact for details). You can also call us to take payment via telephone.

Amending Orders

As these are bespoke items and we aim to deliver your garden furniture within four weeks from date of order, there is very limited time during which you can amend your order. We strongly advise that you be certain of your order before placing it.  We will be ordering oak to your specified thickness and length and starting to make your piece within a very short time from order placement.  As soon as we order the oak, it is unlikely your order can be changed.

Guarantees, Refunds and Returns

As this is outdoor furniture and exposed to the elements, we cannot offer guarantees or refunds for the changes that naturally occur.  Oak will naturally silver, crack and split as it goes through the air-drying process. The drying is of the natural resins and sap within the wood and oak will continue to dry even through damp/wet weather.  This is a natural process which will enhance and strengthen the oak, both aesthetically and practically.

We aim to have your order delivered in impeccable condition.  We check the condition of your order upon despatch.  Upon its arrival, please check your order before accepting delivery.  If the item is damaged in any way, you must inform the delivery team immediately upon receipt of the item and refuse delivery. Please state the reason for refusal on the courier’s delivery slip.  If possible take photographs of the damage. Please then immediately call Oakfresco on 01233 740045 or email us at customerservice@oakfresco.co.uk to report the problem.

In the event that you change your mind, under the Distance Selling Regulations, we do accept returns.  However you must communicate this to us by email, letter or fax within seven days following receipt of your order and then return your order to Oakfresco, in its original condition, at your own expense within 7 days of your notification to us. The item(s) must be unused, unmarked and in the same condition in which it was delivered to you. Refunds will be issued following receipt of the undamaged item by Oakfresco, less an administration charge of £25.00.
